To qualify an alternative instrument for PGDx elio™ tissue complete, shearing conditions were optimized to closely match the DNA fragment lengths required for etc. A head-to-head comparison was then performed to assess equivalency of assay performance. The goal of this white paper is to provide information about optimization of the alternate instrument for compatibility with etc. This white paper also serves as an example of a shearing optimization process that could be used to optimize other shearing methodologies.
