Project Coordinator

Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx) offers innovative diagnostic tests and bioinformatic systems that play a pivotal role in the groundbreaking area of next generation sequencing (NGS).  This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assist in managing project deliverables, planning, and reporting.  Responsible for project administration and support of multiple programs in a fast-paced, growing medical diagnostic company.  Consolidate and maintain project plans and status reports for internal project teams and pharma clients, and executive management.  Creates and maintains resourcing plans, coordinates meetings, agendas, and minutes.  Help build a knowledge and reporting base for projects and overall portfolio.  Track and report samples by working with R&D teams, Operations team and business development.

  • Work with Project Manager, technical team, sales team and business development team to create plans and progress reports
  • Work with Project Manager to track resourcing and budget versus plans
  • Manage project team meetings including scheduling, presentation preparation, meeting minute taking, and action item tracking
  • Manage product development project design history files with Quality team including tracking in the document management system
  • Work with clients and Lab Operations to reconcile manifest reports
  • Facilitate in creation of quotes, scopes of work, formatting and approval
  • Manage data reporting, requests, and delivery to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage shipping schedules, FTP set-up, and data transfer requests
  • Generate and edit QC reports for clients through LIM system
  • Generate and manage portfolio and project-specific dashboards for resource planning and tracking deliverables
  • Act as “go-to” team member and communication hub, solve problems and champion processes
  • BS or BA preferred or high school diploma with industry experience
  • 0 – 2 years of project experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills required
  • Familiarity with project management software packages preferred
