Product Manager

Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx) is Empowering the Fight Against Cancer by unlocking actionable information from the genome. We are developing an innovative portfolio of regulated tissue-based and non-invasive liquid biopsy genomic products for laboratories worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our Marketing team.

  • Provide market intelligence, business cases and customer requirements for new product development or new market programs within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Provide the voice of the customer and make quick decisions in a fast-paced and technically intensive environment
  • Serve as product development project core team member, responsible for customer requirements and market knowledge that drives commercial success
  • Become the market expert for assigned product, including segmentation, competitive analysis, market access, and points of differentiation
  • Create and implement clear value proposition/positioning for covered products laddering up to PGDx corporate messaging
  • Train field commercial teams for new product launches and drive uptake of new products in global markets
  • Provide input to product roadmap, including data driven prioritization of capabilities and enhancements
  • Develop strategic pricing that generates maximum profitability based on value product brings to the market and current competitive landscape
  • Drive the development of sales tools (literature, brochures, website), training materials, and sales and customer communications
  • Build relationships with customers, thought leaders, trade associations, and industry players to facilitate engagement and promotion
  • Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends and formulate strategic responses
  • Collaborate with team to conduct continuous product improvement, through market trend surveillance, competitor analyses, and study of product complaint trends
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in clinical IVD marketing preferred
  • Technical background, scientific degree or molecular diagnostics background required
  • Sales experience and global business experience preferred
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) preferred
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, cross-functional role
  • Ability to work through strategic business concepts and marketing plans
  • High initiative to drive solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven informal leadership experience
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of technical and market issues/factors
