Global Portfolio Marketing Manager

Job Description

This is a remote role within the Marketing & Commercial Strategy team.

This position will play a pivotal role in helping to create awareness of the elio™ portfolio. You will develop global portfolio and product content and work in collaboration with other marketing team members (corporate brand, digital, customer engagement, global) to build foundational assets and ensure consistent delivery and stewardship of the brand.

The candidate should have broad experience with in vitro diagnostics (IVD’s) and Research Use Only diagnostics (RUO) and can use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. This candidate should be comfortable with integrated health networks and academic medical centers, including buying influences across cancer research and cancer care continuum. The candidate will support strategy and tactics for revenue growth across our NGS portfolio of precision oncology products for translational research and routine diagnostics.

This position is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with the product/​customer areas as well as leadership to establish the portfolio marketing strategy and tactics
  • Lead the smooth execution of the portfolio marketing plan, across all channels
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and assets and collateral, via cross functional teams when relevant.
  • Track, analyze and report program results to ensure strategies and tactics are working and to optimize lead generation and business outcomes, while maintaining project budget.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, best practice sharing, competitive benchmarking and expertise on the evolving landscape
  • Assess and refine the brand experience across a growing portfolio of products to ensure best customer experience
  • Maintain brand guidelines to enable consistent utilization
  • Ensure easy accessibility of developed content & assets to all internal stakeholders and manage internal content release process end to end; manage content refinement and performance

Required Education & Experience

  • 7 years B2B in brand management and marketing experience, preferably within healthcare, pharma or life science sector; NGS, genomics and precision oncology experience required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biological sciences, genetics, marketing, business, or related discipline is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred Mastery of clinical NGS and translational research domain
  • Must knowledgeably write marketing copy that represents brand guidelines and portfolio
  • A passion for the end-to-end customer & patient experience, and expertise in creating customer journey maps and buyer personas
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication/​presentation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective story teller.
  • Experience in developing the positioning and messaging for bringing new products and portfolios to market that serve multiple use cases and personas, across global geographies
  • You are an expert at creating visually compelling, engaging presentations that distill complicated concepts into succinct stories
  • You have the proven ability to deliver messaging and content at the portfolio and product level, including presentations, datasheets, white papers, blog posts, web content, etc.
  • Must be comfortable with digital channels
  • You are a self-motivated professional with business maturity, a true passion for brand and strategic marketing, with a strong work ethic.
  • You have experience in managing third party vendors or in-house creative teams, including sourcing, assessing, contracting, budgeting, scheduling and project management
  • Experience working within GDPR regulations a plus
